  this is exciting, if only for the cognitive dissonance it has to cause jws.

  and since a "worldy" member of my family worked as an engineer on a spectrometer going into the pheonix mar's lander, i get to make sure my witness family partakes in that cognitive dissonance.. .

  We have been born again!

  a couple of days ago we had a major shift in our weather.

  after over 2 weeks of sub-freezing temps, wind and snow we are now feeling the effects of what is called the "pineapple express", a weather system coming up out of the south pacific with warm temperatures and rain.

  the deep snow that has been on the ground for 25 days has almost completely disappeared, i saw green grass in the backyard today!

  Need to vent - being hassled by elders!

  nearly two years ago my husband and i abruptly stopped attending meetings.

  we had one or two visits from an elder that i disliked, but that stopped when i told him not to come back.

  we were patting ourselves on the back that we had been left alone.

  first of all, we haven't been to 1/2 the meetings... i guess she hasn't noticed.

  anyways, some things have worked out very well for us (not spiritual or religious) and she said that jehovah's holy spirit was with us.

  she asked if we had been praying to god for these specific things.

  is there some connection between the digital tv mandate and freeing up the airwaves in preparation for rfid?.

  doesn't scripture say that satan is the prince of the power of the air?.

  anyone else think there could be a connection here?.

  i found a pre nwt bible in the thrift store.

  in reading this, i noticed that in genesis, the word eden is preceeded by an apostrophe.

  i think words that are shortened by ommitting letters or prefixes are written using an apostrophe to denote the missing letters.. so, could 'eden actually be another spelling of 'eddon and could it be a shortened form of armag'edon?.
